'Hai Apna Dil Toh Awara' revisits the scenic locations of Kashmir

Debutant director Monjoy Mukerji is set to revive his father, yesteryear actor-filmmaker Joy Mukerji's banner, Joy Mukerji Enterprises, with 'Hai Apna Dil Toh Awara'. Following in his father's footsteps, the young filmmaker has shot several sequences and songs in the breathtaking locations of Kashmir. Monjoy recalls, "We shot in minus seven degrees temperature. Even though we'd get barely four hours of sunlight, we managed to capture some scenes with snow-capped backgrounds. For a particular sequence, we wanted snowfall. And luckily, it snowed the next day. We got some great visuals in the song 'Chhu Liya', which has been sung by Papon."

He adds that it would take the cast and crew two hours to reach the locations in Srinagar and Sonmarg, since these places were far from where they were staying. The film features Sahil Anand, Vikram Kochhar, Herry Tangiri, Niyati Joshi, Jayaka Yagnik, Nilesh Lalwani, Divya Chouksey and Sareh Far. 'Hai Apna Dil Toh Awara', produced by Monjoy Mukerji Productions in association with Deepakk and Neha Gupta of Anikaa Films, releases on August 5.
